Program Information:

An Introduction to Centering Prayer program will be presented on September 12, 2026 at Mathews United Methodist Church, 801 S. Trade St., Matthews, NC 28105 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Centering Prayer is a receptive method of silent prayer which deepens our relationship with God, beyond thoughts, words, and images. The introductory program will serve as a beginning for those who have no or little experience of this practice and as a refresher for those who desire it.
